How it works

How a brand ends up on a person at an event

People offer sponsor slots on their body, laptop or shirt for an event they are going to. Brands take a slot in a doubling auction or at the person’s fixed price. The person approves every logo, and we print and ship the tattoos and stickers before the event.

Bidding is not open yet. Stick On Me is a waitlist today. The first pages go to HYROX athletes in October, then laptops and shirts.

2. The pageBefore bidding
We turn three phone photos into a 3D page of the person, with slots sized to the event’s rules. The person pays a one-time $9.99 when the model is built. Brands see the person, each slot, its size and the event date.

Take a slot at the price shown, or pay double to take it over. Upload your logo, and we check it against the sponsor rules.

The doubling auction, one slot at a time

A slot opens around $200. The next brand pays double to take it over, and the brand it replaces is refunded in full. Every outbid brand gets its money back, so only the brand holding the slot at the close ends up paying.

One slot taken over three times Brand A opens the slot at $200. Brand B takes it over at $400 and Brand A is refunded $200 in full. Brand C takes it over at $800 and Brand B is refunded $400 in full. Brand D takes it over at $1,600 and Brand C is refunded $800 in full. Brand D holds the slot at the close. Brand A opens the slot$200Nobody to refund yet Brand B takes it over$400Brand A refunded $200 in full Brand C takes it over$800Brand B refunded $400 in full Brand D holds the slot at the close$1,600Brand C refunded $800 in full
An illustration of the arithmetic. No real auction has run yet.
Brand D pays$1,600
Brands A, B and C are out of pocket$0
Our 12% of the money received$192
The person receives$1,408

The person approves each takeover before it lands. If they veto a logo, that brand is refunded in full too. The one-time $9.99 model fee is separate and is not part of this sum.

From joining to the proof photo

Tattoos and stickers have to be printed and posted, so bidding closes 7 days before the event. That last week is for printing and delivery.

Timeline from joining to the proof photo The person joins the list with their event and sends three photos. We build the 3D page. Bidding runs until 7 days before the event, when it closes. During the last 7 days we print and ship. On event day the person applies the tattoos or stickers, shows up and posts a photo of the logo in place. After the event the proof photo goes to the brand.
